Had a great experience purchasing a used 2012 Iron 883 Sportster. Matthew made the transaction as smooth as possible, he was very knowledgeable about the bikes and guided me through the inventory based on what I told him I was looking for. He knows what he's talking about and he listens and gives you advice as to what best fits your riding needs and habits. 5 stars all around for the entire process, it was great and I look forward to doing business with them again!

While I was shopping around for a bike,even while going around from dealership to dealership with friends buying parts, one of the main things I look for is character and just "darn right" pleasant, honest costumer service, and this place definitely has that!! . Joe Fredo is the most pleasant, knowledgeable sales person its ever been my pleasure to deal with, he as well as Michael"Bogie"Bogart,John Maguire and there staff will not only go that extra step , but climb to the top of that latter to make sure every detail is covered, every question is answered and every visit you make back to this dealership your treated like family.

After having an absolute awful experience with another Harley Davidson dealership I was skeptical about buying one. After talking to a friend, he told me to take a go at NYC Harley Davidson. He purchased 2 bikes from there and has recommended several of our other friends to them.
I talked to Joe Fredo, the sales manager, and told him I was driving over an hour to his dealership to meet him and the bad experience I had. I live about 60 miles north of the city. Joe was courteous, understanding & knowledgeable (and I mean it! Joe knows his inventory and his bikes). It's very important to me as a consumer that a seller knows his product. Joe is this. Every bike I looked at, which was almost all of them new and used, he knew everything about them. Joe spent almost 2 hours with me and didn't pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. He not only showed me the bikes but he introduced me to most of the staff and showed me the rest of the shop. Everyone was courteous and happy to take a minute to talk. I didn't even sign or decided on purchasing a bike yet and Joe still took the time to do all this.
So her I am. An owner of a black 2012 switchback. I drove it home in a very bad rainstorm. It took me an hour and a half to get home but was worth it. The bike is awesome! And so is Joe and his staff at NYCHD. I highly, HIGHLY recommend them for your next purchase.

BUT HE IMMEDIATELY PULLED OUT HIS ELECTRONIC ROLODEX (GEORGE, YOU NEED TO UPDATE THAT TO SOMETHING FROM THIS CENTURY!) AND WENT TO WORK. "Hello all, I just wanted to take a moment to personally thank NYC Harley-Davidson. In particular, I would like to give a HUGE thanks to Mr. Jim Holland who helped me with the purchase of my first Harley, an Iron 883. Jim is an OUTSTANDING sales rep who is a credit to the entire H-D organization. Helpful, honest, hard-at-work, knowledgeable, expedient and trustworthy are just some of the words that come to mind when i think of Jim. He did everything and anything to make the purchase easy and fun! I brought in a Japanese bike trade-in and have changed my entire riding style so little to say I was a bit nervous. NO PROBLEM... best riding decision I've ever made. Not only is my new Iron 883 INCREDIBLE but every step of the way at NYC Harley was as well. I would also quickly like to thank Dave and Ed in service who helped set me up - some of the nicest riders I've encountered. I'd even like to say the ladies in clothing sales were great and very helpful (thanks Cheryl and I'm sorry but I forgot the other lady's name). I'd even want to thank the owner who helped me with my loan/lien release. Needless to say I AM PSYCHED to have had such a warm welcome into the world of Harley-Davidson. I will NO DOUBT be using NYC H-D and ONLY NYC H-D for my future Harley needs (including a 1200 conversion at some point, ha, here we go). "I recently was in New York City for a mini shopping trip. I stopped into the Harley Davidson store on Lexington. I cant believe how rude the sales staff were in the store!!!!! My friend and I were in the store for at least 10 minutes or so and nobody spoke to us...nobody explained all the t-shirts were displayed on the racks. But the minute I pulled a t-shirt from the shelf they were 'all over me' The staff were rude and demeaning!!!! Heaven forbid I pull a t-shirt off the shelf that I decided I didnt want and then someone had to fold it back up and put it back on the shelf!!!!!!! I did end up making a purchase but only because I had my heart set on bringing my boyfriend home a Harley t-shirt from New York. Needless to say I was very disappointed with my shopping experience at the Harley store on Lexington!!!!!"
